Sveifluhals or Austurhals is a hyaloclastite ridge (395m) on the Reykjanes Peninsula in the southwestern part of the country to the west of Lake Kleifarvatn.  Its foothills on the lakeside are steep.  In its southern slopes is great geothermal activity, an area named after farm Krysuvik.  The highest peaks of the area are the peaks called Hellutindar, Stapatindar and Middeigishnukar
