Icebike adventures

We are small family-owned company passionate about mountain-biking and the outdoors. We are proud to have been the first company in Iceland offering Heli-biking trips and now fatbike trips. Over the years we have tried to expand the mountain-bike culture in the country by building bike-parks and trails in the country, location scouting & and logistic work for Mountain-biking films to promote Iceland as the perfect country for MTB. We sure know good single track and the nicest way to get there wether its in the superjeep or in the heli. We design our trips with the ultimate mountain bike riding experience in mind. We offer world class bike trips over the country for bikers from all over the world and film crews doing documentaries for the mountain-biking scene.

The very short season makes our longer trips very exclusive as we only run ~4-8 trips per year. We offer our highland services during July and August only because we hold an immense respect for protecting the land and soil, and because we want you to have the best possible biking conditions. We offer exclusive personal service and knowledge of the sport is our advantage. All our guides have extensive experience in biking on all our routes and on trails abroad along with being qualified in First Aid and Rescue.
Our trips are unparalleled, melding the very best Icelandic single tracks with true Icelandic cultural and back country experiences . Our riding roots run deep and our passion is to innovate and deliver a world class adventure. At the end of the day we just love to ride our bikes. Our trips are about quality rides and nice personal service. Few people ever ride these natural trails in Iceland, even some locals don't know about some of the trails we use - many are untouched, unmarked and unmapped. You'll never get tired of the same trails. We NEVER take our clients to the flat gravel roads as we believe roads are for cars! Our guides are friendly and nice. They'll fix your bike and chat with locals along the way. They are courteous, helpful and professional. We take care of the little things. There is almost nothing that we won't do to make sure that your trip runs smoothly.

The Reykjanes Peninsula

Towns & Villages

Visitors to Iceland who arrive via Keflavik International Airport on the Reykjanes Peninsula may be somewhat surprised by the landscape that greets their eyes as they touch down in Iceland for the very first time. A seemingly endless, green-grey moss-topped lava field blankets the peninsula for as far as the eye can see, and it is this strange and rather other-worldly sight that is your first glimpse of the land of fire and ice.
