Eftir að Krýsuvíkurkirkja brann í byrjun árs árið 2010 var stofnað vinafélag krýsuvíkurkirkju með áform um að endurbyggja kirkjuna.

The Church in Krýsuvík burned down in 2010, immediately after the fire a group of people created a friend's association for the church with reforms of rebuilding it.

Early in the morning of the 15th of September, the Visit Reykjanes team went to the eruption site in Geldingadalir. During our visit, the team took a 360° image close to the crater. This image was taken shortly before the area was closed due to extreme lava flow.

Í gær eða þann 15. september snemma morguns fór Visit Reykjanes teymið að gosinu og tók 360 gráðu mynd rétt við gíginn. Þessi mynd var tekin stuttu áður en svæðið var lokað vegna mikils hraunsflæðis!
