The music group Camerartica has been performing the sweet sound of Mozart for over thirty years. This time the group consists of clarinetist Ármann Helgason, violinists Hildigunnur Halldórsdóttir and Bryndís Pálsdóttir, violinists Svava Bernhardðsdóttir and Guðrún Þórarinsdóttir and cellist Sigurður Haldórsson.
It is ideal to begin the Advent with a Mozart concert in the idyllic church in Hvalsnes, embracing the silence and candlelight at dusk.
The program includes splendid works by Mozart, but there are Quartet for clarinet and strings in B flat major. 378 and Quintet for Strings in B Major qv. 174.
The concert is about one hour long.
Ticket price is 2,500.- free for children 18 years and younger.
The tickets are sold at the entrance.
The family at the Hvalsnes farm is inviting guests from the concert for hot Cocoa and gingerbread at the farm after the concert.
