Public Transportation

Three bus systems are operating in the Reykjanes region. 

1. ses within the municipality of Reykjanesbær (R1-R3-R4). See local bus timetables here. Note: the buses do not run on Sundays and have limited times on Saturdays. 
2. Buses between the towns of Reykjanes region: Reykjanesbær - Garður - Sandgerði - Vogar and Grindavík (buses no. 87, 88 and 89). See timetables here.
3. Buses between the capital area and Reykjavik, Reykjanesbær and Keflavik International Airport (bus no. 55). See the timeschedule here for the Southern peninsula
