The documentary film The Man Who Loves Music by Jóhann Sigmarsson will be shown in Berg in Hljómahöll on Saturday, March 28th at 8:00 PM. Admission is free while space permits.
 
The film follows the life and career of musician Þóris Baldursson, who has had a career in music spanning over seventy years. He is followed from his childhood in Keflavík, where he began playing the piano at a young age and formed his first band at the age of just 12.
 
In the documentary, Þórir reminisces about his career, visits places connected to his musical life, and meets old friends and colleagues from the music industry. During his career, he worked both in Iceland and abroad, working with well-known musicians and artists such as ABBA, Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Donna Summer, and Grace Jones.
 
The film provides insight into Þórir's story, the development of the music he helped shape, and its impact on the world's music scene.
