The band R.H.B.
The band R.H.B. (Rolf Hausbentner Band) was founded in 2020. The band has released 5 songs and received airplay on both Iceland's Public Radio station Rás 2 and X977. The song Set Me Free, which the band released together with Frída Dís, spent several weeks on the charts of Rás 2 . The band is currently working on their first full album.
Members include Pálmar Guðmundsson, Ólafur Ingólfsson, Smári Guðmundsson, Hlynur Þór Valsson, Ólafur Þór Ólafsson and Birta Rós Sigurjónsdóttir. Special guests will be Friða Dís Guðmundsdóttir and Grétar Lárus Matthíasson.

Friða Dís
Friða Dís has worked as a musician since an early age, mainly as a singer and lyricist and songwriter with Klassart, Eldar and Trilogia. In 2020, she started a solo career and has since then released three albums with the publishing company Smástirni; Myndaalbúm, Lipstick On and Fall River. The album Lipstick On was nominated for the Kraumur-Awards in 2022 and in an album review in Morgunblaðið the same year, Arnar Eggert Thoroddsen writes: "[…] a really successful work. With the better albums I have heard this year”. Friða has also participated in a number of projects with various musicians, e.g. Soffía Björg, Íkorni, Inga Björk, Baggalútur and Jónas Sig and have been busy performing live. Friða Dís is currently working on her fourth LP, which is expected later this year.
