This special event brings together Samfélag fyrir Öll – Community for All, Tangófélagið – The Tango Club of Reykjavík, and Bandonegro - a world-class tango orchestra from Poland and Reykjanesbær Library.
The evening will combine a short live presentation, a tango workshop, free improvisation with live music, and a practilonga with a DJ from Reykjavík.
PROGRAMME
18:00–18:15 - Opening performance with live music. A short piece showing what we would like to explore and achieve during the workshops.
18:15–18:45 - Tango workshop. All levels welcome!
18:45–19:15 - Free improvisation with live music. An opportunity to explore movement, music and spontaneous interaction.
19:15–20:00 - Practilonga, an open space to dance, practise and enjoy tango.
Come to dance, participate, watch, listen or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
