Styles that can be mentioned to describe the characteristics of Krownest's hardcore rock include death rock, nu-metal and even black metal. Krownest are known for their powerful stage presence and powerful concerts that tear the audience apart and leave witnesses with a sore throat. Since their formation in 2020, Krownest have amassed a notable fan base within the fringe music scene in Iceland and are often considered among the leaders of its new wave.
