Nýdönsk is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and is visiting Hljómahöllin to mark the occasion. It is nice to remember the great concert at the venue last year, which was attended by fewer people than expected.
Last year, their album, Í raunheimum, was released, which includes the smash hit Perfect Vehicle. Few if any Icelandic bands have as many hits as Nýdánsk, and it's certain that good things are to come when the boys visit Reykjanesbær.
The band consists of Björn Jörundur Friðbjörnsson, Daníel Ágúst Haraldsson, Jón Ólafsson, Stefán Hjörleifsson and Ólafur Hólm. They will be assisted by Guðmundur Pétursson, guitarist, and Ingi Skúlason, bassist.
