Path D is now path E - Merardalaleið

The path towards the new eruption site, which has been referred to as path D - Merardalir, on our website (visitreykjanes.is), will from now on be referred to as path E - Merardalir (blue).

The update was made today when a new map was published, with alternative routes through Hrútadalur Valley. The path in Hrútadalur will now be path D (red). 

The map online has now been updated and here you can get the pdf version published 17. July 2023.
