Due to a film project, visitors to the Reykjanes peninsula and those planning to drive to the eruption site for an evening hike can expect traffic delays and short closures from the 22. July at 22:00 to 23. July at 8:00.

The roads where it can be expected are; Suðurstrandarvegur (no. 427), Krýsuvíkurvegur (no. 42), Bláalónsvegur (no. 426) and Nesvegur (no. 425).
